March Birthstone Ring for her, White Gold Ring, Gemstone Split Shank Engagement Ring, A diamond alternative
Aquamarine White Gold Gemstone Ring, Split Shank 14k Palladium White Gold Rapunzel Ring, Engagement Ring or Right Hand Ring, Eco Friendly Aquamarine split shank ring in 14k palladium white gold. Sustainable, recycled and ethical gold 9mm round (just over 1/3 of an inch) bezel set in my entirely handcrafted bezel setting. Aquamarine is the birthstone for March and a member of the Beryl family, along with emeralds and morganite. Each ring is crafted in 14k palladium white gold in the size requested at the time of purchase. A bit about palladium white gold: Palladium is in the same family as platinum and lends itself well to the gold- palladium white gold isn't nearly as yellow in tone, and doesn't require repeated rhodium plating to keep it looking white, instead of dull white/ yellow like 14k white gold often does. Additionally palladium gives the metal a richer gray/white hue and increased durability you want for a piece of this significance. It is slightly more expensive, but I choose to use it because I believe it is a higher quality alloy with a richer look and holds up very well over time. Please let me know if you have any questions prior to purchase. This setting was hand carved in wax, cast in metal, and hand polished, prepped, soldered and set at Onegarnetgirl's workshop in Keene, NH . From concept to completion all settings are handcrafted and never utilize prefabricated components bought from jewelry supply catalogs. What makes my jewelry special
Madelynn Cassin Designs has been selling on ETSY since 2008 under the shop name Onegarnetgirl. This small, independently owned business grew from a love of gemstones and a passion for making. Madelynn's designs are inspired by large, naturally occurring colored gemstones and the way they sparkle in the sun. These mini works of art start from a block of wax that she then carefully carves into the bold yet delicate and feminine creations that bare her name. This labor of love has grown from a small workspace on a three-season porch to a bustling workshop in an old mill building, where Madelynn continues to handmake objects that help people feel beautiful, loved and express their personalities.
Sustainability is super important, as the effects of mining for precious materials can devastate communities unnecessarily. Because of this, we use only alloys that are 100% recycled, ethically sourced gemstones, and utilize compostable, plant based packaging.
Why is a Madelynn Cassin Piece so Special?
