It never ceases to amaze me just how much rough cut by a talented gemstone cutter raises a stone to a whole different level.
Asscher cuts are a more difficult to find facy shape, and this golden yellow throws a spark like a fire. The golden flashes among light yellow sparks... it's just gorgeous.
I carved a setting that angular to compliment the shape and matte finished the setting to offset the brilliance of the stone.
This setting was hand carved in wax, cast in metal, and hand polished, prepped, soldered and set in our workshop in Keene, NH . From concept to completion all settings are handcrafted and never utilize prefabricated components bought from jewelry supply catalogs.
