Aquamarine Ring in 14k Yellow Gold, Made To order
Aquamarine is the birthstone of March and is a precious stone in the same family as Emerald (green beryl) and Morganite (pink beryl). The size and clarity of this aquamarine is rare, and I wanted to create a setting that would allow the oval stone to shine. I feel matte finish gold does that best.
I hand carved this rick gold setting and have set a glorious 10mm x 12mm Aquamarine gemstone the color of the faintest blue sky.
The bezel is heavy walled, and open in the back, and set into the band. The finish is matte, but I can also polish to a high shine. The Matte looks beautiful next to a clear and cool aqua.
