Oregon Sunstone Engagement Ring
Oregon Sunstone Engagement Ring
Rose Gold Halo Ring, Rustic Handmade Jewelry for Fiance
Incredibly peachy 8mm Oregon Sunstone with KILLER SCHILLER from the side, a pinky peach from other angles. Handcrafted 14k rose gold halo ring setting is approximately 12mm wide from side to side, sits 6-7 mm off the top of the finger. Because of this milgrain bezel and rim of polished gold the stone is very well protected. Bezels are fantastic for daily wear and don't get caught on your clothing, in your hair and won't ever scratch the way prongs can. Understated vintage feel is created by the inner milgrain bezel. Milgrain is optional, so if you'd prefer a smooth inner bezel just let me know. The band is 2.25mm wide and 1.25mm thick, so this piece is nice and durable and with a little care will last for ages. Brushed finish applied to the shank and side, unless you'd prefer polished, that is customizable too. The Bezel are around the stone is highly polished. The stone was harvested, conflict free, in Depoe Bay, Oregon, and hand selected by me. I use exclusively ecologically friendly metals, so you can ensure this ring has helped the impact of mining on our planet and the community. Stamped 14k I make each piece to order, so each piece has been touched by my hands and made especially for you. There is not stock that I pull from because this is a small business, not a chain. I don't use settings from supply catalogs that dot the jewelry landscape. If you are looking for a rustic, beautiful, organic piece to become your favorite heirloom jewelry, I'm happy to make it for you, and promise it's worth the couple of weeks wait. Oregon Sunstone comes in a variety of shades as seen above, please let me know your color preference at checkout! *Seen in last photo with our custom carved wedding band. This listing is for one ring only - the 14k Rose Gold 8mm Oregon Sunstone Halo. This setting was hand carved in wax, cast in metal, and hand polished, prepped, soldered and set in our workshop in Keene, NH . From concept to completion all settings are handcrafted and never utilize prefabricated components bought from jewelry supply catalogs.
What makes my jewelry special
Madelynn Cassin Designs has been selling on ETSY since 2008 under the shop name Onegarnetgirl. This small, independently owned business grew from a love of gemstones and a passion for making. Madelynn's designs are inspired by large, naturally occurring colored gemstones and the way they sparkle in the sun. These mini works of art start from a block of wax that she then carefully carves into the bold yet delicate and feminine creations that bare her name. This labor of love has grown from a small workspace on a three-season porch to a bustling workshop in an old mill building, where Madelynn continues to handmake objects that help people feel beautiful, loved and express their personalities.
Sustainability is super important, as the effects of mining for precious materials can devastate communities unnecessarily. Because of this, we use only alloys that are 100% recycled, ethically sourced gemstones, and utilize compostable, plant based packaging.
Why is a Madelynn Cassin Piece so Special?
